Her eyes went towards the alleyway that Lloyd had mentioned. Thinking that maybe that will do for the moment, she nods in agreement. “O-Okay. Um, Lloyd?” she raised her head, “Th-Thank you… um, sorry for using your jacket. You must be cold…”

He would have to be, since they were still in the beginning of spring.

“Hm?” Head tilted, to say he heard, he couldn’t stop the smile from growing on his lips. “No problem. I can handle a little cold. Better then you catching a cold yourself.” He teased, hand half raising to ruffle her hair before he caught himself, a bolt of shyness running through him as he, instead, brought that hand behind his head, running through his own spikes.

“Anyway…distraction time. Be ready to run.” He quickly spouted, wanting to move the subject on, less his un-sly move be noticed. So with a quick flash of a grin, and a small salute, he abandoned the place behind the bush. Not having too many options, and now a self timer in his head, he looked for a good way to distract everyone, eyes landing on a trash can.

Perfect, a loud noise. And it was even opposite of where Lucia should be running.

Half a plan formed in his mind, he took off at a sprint, while at the same time trying to look distracted, like a bird caught his attention. Though, that worked a little too well, and he himself was taken by surprise when his knee’s his the metal of the garbage can, stopping his sprint immediately.

However, it wasn’t enough to trip him, and he knew he’d have to hold onto their attention just a bit longer, instead letting his torso bend so he made yet another bang with his hands slapping on the rims, literally using his body to move the trash can, as if he was trying to stabalize it.

And finally his voice, woah’s and calm down’s flowing from his lips, making as much a ruckas as he could, all until he felt enough seconds had passed, and he could stop the small act with a sigh of relief.

Oh, the thought of using his jacket never crossed her mind. “O-Oh… Thank  you…” she trailed off, putting it over the t-shirt. It was bigger than she expected, but she liked that about his jacket.

Big and comfortable, it also had a comforting sce—I mean…

“How are you going to distract them though?”

Feeling the loss of his jacket, a slight shiver running through his body at the cool wind, he never the less smiled when she took it from him. Feeling a bit better himself with her state of dress, even if she was still lacking in the pants/skirt department, he could turn his attention back towards the people.

“Ah dunno yet. But I’ll think of something. Meet in that alleyway over there?”  Since they would be less likely to have random passerbyers, and more places for Lucia to hide.

“L-Lloyd, calm down.” she said, grabbing hold of his other hand that rests beside him. “You have a good reason to be upset, b-but it’ll do us no good.” Plus, she wouldn’t want to anger them and get Lloyd caught up in this mess. Especially because of her.

“F-For now, could you help me return home? Without anyone seeing me like this? I just want to change back to my normal clothes.” that is, if she could…

Feeling her warm fingers encircle his free hand, he was pulled back enough from his righteous anger, enough to turn his head, to look at her. “I suppose your right, but next time I see one of them…” Gonna give them a stern talking to.

“Hrm…well I could distract them for you. But first…” Reluctantly moving his hand out of her grasp, he moved to his jacket instead, undoing the buttons, figuring it could help her in some small way. He wouldn’t be less clothed without it.

Ah… she figured that would happen. Maybe they’ll give up after a couple minutes have passed and the coast would be clear again. Lucia sighed, only to have her breath get caught in her throat when the brunet asked that question.

“Eep—.”

“I-I can explain! Y-you see these… gray faced things did this to me and… Um th-that’s really all I have…”

“The grey faced people did this?” He repeated, eyes going unfocused for a second as he thoughts went inward. Hand slowly turning into a fist, before bringing it down on top of the bush, much like he would a gravel.

“Those bastards.”

She sighed of relief, happy to see that the brunet hadn’t noticed her attire just yet and hopefully he won’t make a ruckus when he does. It would just draw more unwanted attention and probably have people worried enough to come and check on them.

This was exhausting… mentally exhausting and she just wasn’t prepared for this. The silverette hugged her knees as she rested her forehead against them, thinking that maybe when all is well, she’ll take a nap. She felt like she deserved it.

“U-Um… How is it?”

“The situation that is…”

“I think our shouting earlier made them nervous…” he sighed, looking away from his vigilance  and back to her. A more careful eye running over her features and…wait…

“Where are your normal clothes?”

“L-Lloyd!” She didn’t need any magic anon spell for that stutter, practically jumping out of her skin at the sound of the familiar voice. “I… I r-really don’t kn-know honestly. It’s s-some w-weird spell or wha-whatever that th-those gray f-faces force on p-people.”

“Ohhh those guys. Man, they turned me into a dog the other day.” He sighed, a frown being pulled at his lips, hand running through his hair in exasperation. “Can’t seem to avoid them though. They always pop up.”

“Ugh. W-When will th-this stutter go a-away… I-I don’t even wa-want to know what th-that other th-thing was…”

“What other thing?”

She could feel it, the tears streaming down her face even though she tried as best as she could to hold them back. A sniffle before she noticed the sound of the bushes rustling had stopped. Lucia lifted her head and peered over, noticing that the brunet wasn’t there anymore which worried her. Was it too much? Did it drive him away from her?

A small sigh of relief escaped her lips as she wiped the tears with her wrist. Until the panic settled in again when she heard him speak up. Hearing him was also a relief that eased her worry, but brought back her previous fear.

Hearing him speak to her calmly, asking to help her… Was it okay? But to let him see her like this is a bit out of the question. She was indecent, after all, but… but maybe this would make things easier…

Lucia sniffled, sitting on her legs as she wraps her arms around her. She lowered her voice, just as he had and spoke, “…O-Okay…” she replied, “Um, c-could you first… make sure there’s no one watching? Please…?”

Movement. Hearing her move. It was such a small symbol that she was well enough to do that, spurring his movements on, almost making him rush before he remembered himself. Slow, he needed to go slow right now, if he had any chance of her letting him close. He couldn’t rush like he wanted. Not right now.

He had to keep moving, slowly around the bush. Get closer. Hands on the ground to hold his balance as he scooted across the ground, ears pealed for her voice  as he finally reached the corner, only halting his movements when her voice met his ears again. Sweet relief that she’d let him, making a small smile pull at his lips as he moved just that tiny bit more forward, part of him on her side of the bush now, eyes lifting up on physical being, he had not time to take notice of her close or dress. Just glad to see her and hear here.

She was okay, or at least okay enough. He could now do her task for her.

“Make sure no one is watching, got it.” He replied, body moving a bit faster now, forgetting in his small glee that he needed to move slow. His body rolling to his knees, so he was on her side of the shrub, and could peer over the bush, out into the park at the right angle, looking from person to person. Seeing if they were sufficiently distracted.

But considering their earlier commotion, those nearest would still lift their heads in their direction. Now how to get them to stop…

Ah! Gotta go see a show. Be back later.
